Review: Klairs Supple Preparation Unscented Toner

Hello, loves! Ah~ I've been meaning to write a review about this latest from Klairs. Although, this product has been in the market for quite a while now, and is an instant favorite among skincare enthusiasts, nevertheless, let me introduce to you the latest version of their Supple Preparation Toner!

Before we get started, let me first tell you how this toner helped my skin recovered from being dry and flaky due to the cold weather in Seoul despite the fact that we were there almost during Spring season already.

The new Klairs Supple Preparation Unscented Toner--yep, you guessed it right--is unscented, but what's more to love is the fact that it does not contain any essential oils. Basically, this toner is perfect for those with sensitive skin! For this review, I'll be talking about its formula, consistency, smell, and efficacy. At the same time, I will also give you my honest thoughts about it; just like its performace and how it saved my skin for being overly dry.

Let's get started.

The Klairs Supple Preparation Unscented Toner is contained inside a clear, sturdy, plastic bottle topped with a silver screw cap. It is wrapped with a light purple sticker with writings regarding its ingredients, name, manufacturer's address, and instruction on how to use. Personally, I love how straightforward the packaging. It makes reading the important stuff about the toner easier and a breeze!

Formula & Consistency

One thing I love about Klairs, in general, is their formula. I think almost all the products I have tried from them are very lightweight to the skin and gets absorbed pretty fast. Leaving you with nothing but smooth and supple skin texture. For the consistency, this toner lean on the watery to gel-like type of liquid. I am not quite sure if it is the right way to describe it but yes, it feels watery but at the same time gel-like which I think contributes to its ability to get absorbed fast by the skin.

I was totally expecting it for to not have a scent at all. However, it somewhat have a bit of a chemical smell that does not linger, thank goodness.

Yes, Klairs. You have always been exceeding my expectations. This Supple Preparation Unscented Toner has been so good to my skin especially on the moisturization and hydration part. Just like its predecessor, the Supple Preparation Toner did not fail me. Immediately after patting it to your skin, you feel as if the texture has improved and your skin does not feel tight nor dry unlike other toners.

Over All Verdict:

I started using this unscented version about a month ago. I was given a chance to try the original version of it last year and I just love it as equally as this one. It makes the skin feels instantly hydrated and plump after the initial application. Unfortunately, I experienced purging in a way that my skin became a bit dry and small acne-like bumps started appearing on my face. I think my trip abroad was a blessing for my skin to have its rest from using this toner so I did not bring this with me. After I came back, lo and behold, I resume using it. Two weeks later, my skin feels hydrated and even softer. I also noticed that the bumps and dryness did go away. Like I have said, the Klairs Supple Preparation Unscented Toner is one of the best out there, another good thing about it is that it's scent-free and essential oil-free so you would not have to worry about irritation! If you are wondering if I am recommending and buying this again, my answer would be YES to the both of them.
