Vice Ganda Cosmetics Good Vibes Matte Lipstick Review

It's been a long time coming (lol) but I am back, yeah! I was kind of caught up between different errands and my current job that is why an update is quite delayed, but nevertheless, I'm back and will be posting another entry this weekend! Anyway, for today's entry, I know it's a bit late since a lot are already hyping about this product, I will be talking about Vice Ganda's Cosmetics line! I watched several Youtube videos first before finally deciding whether should I get mine to try or not. As usual, I still gave in to temptation. LOL!

Without further ado, let's start this review!

So I've got the Vice Cosmetics Good Vibes Matte Lipstick in the shade Ganderz. I was supposed to get two but I was having second thoughts about the other shade I was eyeing which is the Hayabayabayu (that was a handful!), so I decided to get the Ganderz first to try out. Ganderz is a warm toned nude that is great for every skin tone.

First things first,

What Is Vice Cosmetics?

Ganda For You. Ganda For Me. Ganda For All. Vice Cosmetics is the brainchild of Filipino comedian, actor, host, endorser, fashion icon, and model, Vice Ganda. Vice Cosmetics was launched a few months ago; they introduced two products namely the Good Vibes Matte Lipstick and the Phenomenal Liquid Lip Kit. What is good about Vice Ganda's products is that they are paraben-free and cruelty-free. The products are also formulated in Los Angeles, California.

Moving on,

The Good Vibes Matte Lipstick: This bullet type matte lipstick comes in 8 lovely shades. It is "a creamy and highly pigmented lipstick collection that goes on matte without drying your lips. It is lightweight and comfortable to wear for your daily dose of Good Vibes." This product promises to provide a comfortable, highly-pigmented, matte finish color without drying your lips.
Packaging: I was expecting that the bullet lipstick is somewhat enclosed in a box but then the Good Vibes Matte Lipstick came as is with only a plastic wrapper around it to secure the cap. Anyway, I am not complaining considering its very affordable price. To be honest, I like the casing of the lipstick itself. Its way of being pink is not very overwhelming to the eyes. It looks very clean and elegant for me.
Texture: To be honest, I got a bit intimidated by the product upon first look. The lipstick appears very matte but I was utterly surprised that it glides on pretty creamy and smoothly.

Pigmentation: The lipstick has a slight downside to it as it does not create an opaque finish on first swipe. However, the color is buildable and two layers are enough to make the color pop.

Smell: It has a chocolate like cupcake smell that is really pleasing.

Longevity: The lipstick is not transfer proof. Although it leaves a hint of stain on the lips after a few bouts of eating and drinking.

Ganderz is a very beautiful warm toned nude that has a beige like brown shade that complements every skin tone.

Final Thoughts On The Product: This Good Vibes Matte Lipstick creates a beautiful and smooth finish on your lips with a minimum of two swipes. I personally think that it is not bad considering its very affordable price. Swiping this twice on my lips is not a problem for me. Surprisingly, unlike most matte bullet lipsticks, this fares very well in terms of hydration and keeping your lips moist while still providing a beautiful matte finish. I just think they could improve on the longevity of this product. But over all, I love this lipstick!

UPDATE: I bought the shade Hayabayabayu, let's see how it works on me!
