[By Wishtrend] Green Tea & Enzyme Powder Wash Review

If I am given choices between skincare products and there is one that contains green tea as one of its ingredients, of course, I'd definitely go for the latter. I love green tea as a drink and I also love it as a skincare ingredient. Why? Because green tea is basically packed with so much goodness including antioxidants and vitamins A, C, and E. These three vitamins are known to improve the skin's appearance and texture, and aside from them, green tea is known for it calming and soothing effect.

Wishtrend will be launching this [By Wishtrend] Green Tea & Enzyme Powder Wash soon and I am able to try and witness what good it brings to the skin. Since I am already using a different green tea facial foam, I have decided to use both of them alternately—I started using this Green Tea & Enzyme Powder Wash as an exfoliator, and to be honest, it did not disappoint.

First and foremost, what is this Green Tea & Enzyme Powder Wash about? Basically, it is a low pH moisturizing cleanser that does not only cleanses but exfoliates the skin as well. This cleanser is good for all skin types, but is recommended especially for those who have oily and acne prone skin. Among its notable ingredients are green tea, papain, baking soda, and amino acid surfactants. Since this contains baking soda, you can ensure a better skincare and helps in removing blackheads. The enzyme it contains helps also in improving the skin's texture without the tight feeling and tugging sensation after washing.

The amino acid surfactants, on the other hand, helps in retention of moisture. This cleanser also have low pH level of 5.5—a perfect cleanser to help the skin return to its natural pH level after thorough washing and cleansing.

This is a powder to foam cleanser. To use this cleansing wash, wet your face first then squeezed out an adequate amount of powder to your hands.

Apply a few drops of water to create a foam.

Notice how the cleanser did not make as much foam compared to other cleansers. A cleanser that does not create too much foam is considered to be a mild one but enough to cleanse the skin and lift up dirt away from the pores and surface.

My verdict: I like using this powder-to-foam facial cleanser at night—especially on days that I am out the whole day and feel like there's a huge build up of dirt in my pores. The smell is very similar to the matcha powder will all know—it reminds of an early morning smell of fresh grasses. *smiles widely* Anyway, I do believe that this Green Tea & Enzyme Powder Wash is mild but since it does contain baking soda (and by the fact that this is in powder form),  this can still get a bit abrasive if you have an extra-sensitive skin so massage it very very gently against your skin's surface when using. Personally, I think my skin just accepts whatever I put on it since it don't react so bad whenever I try a new product. Although after using this once, I have to be honest, at least four to five small pimples erupted on my face—but they are not inflamed; just those small pimples that eventually faded away after three days. It also made my skin flake a little bit but I think that can be also due to my hormones being very active by the time I started using this. Immediately after first wash, you can feel that there is indeed a difference to the feeling of your skin—mine felt soft and smooth. In my own opinion, I think this also gives an instant brightening effect. These were the first few reactions/effects/difference that I have noticed on my skin after a few days of use; I'll edit this soon after a month to update you guys what major change will happen to my skin. This cleanser is performing well so far.
